Guest guest
Dr may be the beginning of a trend... It is extremely important to develop a good relationship with your GP so that you can demonstrate by your progress on LDN how effective the drug has been for you. It seems like that rapport, or Medsmex, may be the only way many people will continue to have access to LDN... Having been on LDN for a while should increase your own doctor's willingness to prescribe since you will be able to demonstrate our continuing statement of "no harm". However I'm certain that if anyone goes in to their doctor speaking in superlatives the doctor is going to look at you with doubt. Rational and reasonable descriptions of your improvement, or even lack of decline, are going to be far more effective than stating how great LDN is for everyone. Specific information, like the improved bladder control, how many times you are NOT getting up at night or the fact that you DON'T need Depends anymore, as well as specific statements regarding strength and walking ability are more important to a doctor than generalities. My doctor was impressed by the improved strength in my hands. My NEW doctor, whom I have not yet asked for a prescription, was impressed at the return of sensation in my feet and my returned awareness of ambient temperature. My statement to him that my hands were stronger as evidenced by my improved ability to play the guitar meant more to him than just saying I was stronger. Whenever possible give your doctor specific examples that have helped you define your improvements. Just some advice, sorry to run on so long
