Guest guest
, Everyone seems to differ in there response to LDN and in there MS experience. Two weeks is a very short time. How large is your dose? I've been using LDN for nearly 2 weeks with NO improvements to speak of. Is this normal? I have MS. My symtoms are not too severe except for my left left which drags, hobbles and just doesn't respond to the messages I send it! It carry's on all the time - just by dragging/not responding etc. It used to only do this after walking around for a fair distance, whereas these days it's like it pretty much from when I get up....I am hoping that LDN will "cure" this symtom....can anyone relate to?Also - I have stopped taking Betaferon. Is this what I am supposed to do?
Guest guest
, A very important fact to remember about LDN. LDN's MAIN purpose is to halt MS progression, NOT to improve symptoms. If one does get symptom improvement on LDN, then that's an added plus(you got lucky). LDN cannot repair severe damage already done. If you continue to get new, never experienced before symptoms while on LDN you need to look to see if you are getting your prescription from one of the pharmacies listed on the LDN site and if not, I suggest you change to one of them immediately. Preferrably Irmat or Skip's. Irmat is Bihari's choice.
Guest guest
, Give it time, don't get discouraged. I've been on it for 7 weeks, I haven't seen the big dramatics others have but things are improving. I said it before here, I also take liquid vitamins an minerals from ENIVA. This stuff really helps. Before I couldn't walk a few steps with my walker, now I can do at least 10 feet. The two together, LDN & ENIVA did the trick. Check there web site. www.eniva.com Private email me and I'll be more than happy to send you contact info. ADJ --- In low dose naltrexone , " noods71 " <noods71@y...> wrote: > > Hi! Guest guest
Rhonda, I have been on LDN for five weeks. I don't have as much pain, but my balance is still really bad. Today, doc increased my dose {trial} to 4:5 I was on Beta for 11 years, , it sure didn't help my balance lately, I am giving LDN a try. The beta was makin me feel really bad. Wait a little longer and see what happens, the four injectibles all have horrible side affects, i think. Edie [low dose naltrexone] Been using LDN for nearly 2 weeks > > > Hi! Guest guest
, Reading your message made me think about the beginning of my MS. Certainly about that leg that just wouldn't respond after a short walk. If at that stage I knew about LDN, I would have happily stopped Betaferon which I regret ever having subjected my poor body to. My advice would be to stick with the LDN, don't touch that Betaferon any more and nurse your body by surveying your diet, (I follow the BBD), take the recommended vitamin supplements and make exercise a daily routine. Consider Yoga and breathing exercises. You have only been on LDN for two weeks so give it time but remember that it is above all there to stop your progression. It is in your hands and you are at the stage where you can turn this bugger around. I discovered LDN at a late stage of my progression and believe nevertheless that I can have the upperhand because my body can and wants to heal itself. I have to be its' guide and refuse to stop believing in the day when I will be able to walk. Good luck . Courage.
