Hi all, My experience with Deacdron is awful. I was dx in 1988. I know now that I got this monster around the age of 13. I researched this disease for over 3 years and so many of my questions got answered about what I had and never thought that anybody would ever believe what I have. Getting dx with MS was a blessing for me. My crisis point came in March of 1990 and it was pure hell. I could not walk when I went into the MS Center in Mpls. I was given 7 days of Decadron and let me tell you it was AWFUL. Now you have really thought that this is okay. I' m afraid not..... I had it 11 times until the last one in December (before Christmas) 2001. I felt that I had no other choice. Back in 1989 there was not anything else As far as the side affects was concerned I just never thought that it would happen to me. I really feel that all of the 22 of us in the Center at the time thought they were doing the best they could. I think every side affects that it has we tend to believe that it is the right thing to do. At the time, yes. Now knowing better I felt I had no other choice but to try the LDN this time. And what a blessing it has been for me. NO MORE steroids. I am so much better then I was before. In many ways. I just think the world should know what we know. How good it really is. The drug companies would really be pissed off. Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have a choice. Use it well. Love and hugs, CJ
