Joanne,

Great references on recovery from MS! That is where I am at now

(after stopping the disease activity with LDN). I am working on

compiling what I have found to work (physical therapy, PEMF, yoga,

supplements) and would be happy to publish anyone else's program they

want to share at http:/LDNers.org

I too am just starting work with Emotional Freedom Technique, I have

a found a great practitioner who is a nurse & hypnotherapist, with

experience with MS patients. Great overview of how hypnotherapy works

http://www.nursehypnotherapist.com/

To find a practitioner in your area, Board of Hypnotherapy has a

directory at http://www.natboard.com/index_files/Page548.htm

I am using this to work on the mind-body connection to reprogram my

walking & balance, and enhance the results of all my other recovery

efforts. Half the battle is just getting rid of the last 10 years of

programming by traditional medicine telling me MS is something you

can't recover from!

I am very happy to be focused on the cure frontier, and the repair of

damage done by MS. My bet right now is on adult stem cells, I am

seeing many reports about recovery spinal cord injuries, my favorite

is the one in Britain where a woman is had a transplant of stem cells

from her nose! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?

In addition to http://www.myelinrepair.org/ as a good progress

tracker on MS research, try:

http://www.myelin.org/research.htm

http://www.bostoncure.org:8080/ (you can contribute news reviews too)

For LDN specific news, I keep my site updated at

http://ldners.org/research.htm

and so does the main LDN site at

http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/
