Guest guest
Anyone using ldn for this? I was at a family gathering over the weekend. A relative's Dad is being encouraged to under go surgery to control severe tremors. We use ldn for troubles that fit in the 'autism' categories but I have not attended to some of the other labels that also use ldn. Does the ldn stop progression, help to reduce tremor, alleviate any other symptoms etc? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi, Absolutely! My dad has been using it since October 2004. He has had remission in several symptoms with no visible progression. He is 77 and has had PD for 16 years. Please feel free to contact me for more info at destinyellen@.... Destiny
Guest guest
Hi , I have been taking 4.5mg naltrexone for 33 months now. I can't say that my PD has progressed. I am still considered early onset and take the usual PD meds in small to moderate amounts. Because these PD meds can work so well in the early years of Parkinson's, I feel it's too early to say LDN has slowed my progression. Your friends fathers PD seems to be very advanced for them to consider surgery. I would be surprised if LDN fixed his tremor, don't expect miracles. But it's worth trying for a year and seeing if there is an effect. Good luck, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=retrieve & db=pubmed & list_uids=1\ 5791005 & dopt=Abstract > > Anyone using ldn for this? I was at a family gathering over the > weekend. Guest guest
My uncle with PD is on LDN 4.5mg since sept 2002 and has not progressed. He takes nothing else. I will see him on April 20th and update my website after I scrutinize him. Noel is still stable but my mother is complicating the picture!
