Make sure the bolts are tight--the wheel may be getting ready to fall off. Could

it be the wheel bearing going bad? ~a

Hi Folks,

In all my years I've never had this particular wheelchair problem. I have a

Quickie P300. When I drive forward, my right rear wheel jerks, resisting

acceleration in a regular rhythmic jerky motion. It does not do this in

reverse, and doesn't make any different kind of noise. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Alana

Actually, I think we've figured out that it's the brushes in the motor. But

we'll check the bearings too. Thanks!

It could be there bearings in that wheel, but to me it sounds like the gear-box

in that motor is failing. If that it the case it will fail completely soon so

you'll want to get in to get that motor replaced.

You could test it by disengaging the motor and running it and see if it still

turns smoothly.
