Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your daughter's pain.

A professional medical advice might be better that a group advice, as

many here have said.

If I may give one small advice, NEVER give any medication orally when a

person is vomiting. (Ibuprofen, for example, causes stomach bleeding and

might be harmful in some digestive tract conditions.)

Best wishes for your daughter.

I must agree.  We often help each other when our doctors have no cue.

Can we all just assume she's already spoken to the doctors? Really, I was under

the impression this group was to share information and support with others

impacted by SMA.

We've all had the experience of having to educate doctors about our disability

so I'm pretty sure they don't know all the details of living with SMA. And, if

this thread is anything to go by, there's a significant number of us having

symptoms that my doctors never mentioned to me.

What a wonderful thing that sharing information might actually help find

solutions.

spiking a high temp 103, vomiting once or twice shaking, very very cold.I

actually take my hair blow dryer and run it all over her body. In the meantime

she has two blankets on. She looses all color in her face..and her is the

catcher..she says her legs ache really bad when this happens, I usually give her

ibuprofen and things calm down then she is fine? My question has anyone ever had

this happen before, or ever heard of it??? Oh ya it only happens once time per

month..and it isnt around her period time either.....Thank you Chris
