Guest guest
Well, it doesn't show that she lifts her head off the ground, but she's definitely able to hold it up for a while. ________________________________ From: Kacper Rucinski <kacper.rucinski@...> Sent: Wednesday, February 15, 2012 4:58 AM Subject: Olesoxime and SMA Â Hello, It has been nearly half a year since the Olesoxime trial took off involving ~150 SMA children worldwide. I have not really heard of any results - except of one four-year-old girl, Maya, who got on the trial. Yesterday, her dad uploaded a video where Maya is able to lift her head off the ground - as he says, " for the first time in 3 years " : www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XXWp1JD6-Y. Isn't this wonderful news? Also, she was lucky not to be getting placebo, seemingly. Is anyone here taking part in the trial or knowing someone on the trial? Any observations to share? Guest guest
True, I wasn't precise enough. Still, it is quite an improvement as compared to her abilities just a few months earlier - pic #4 below: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=344590348914506 & set=a.344590258914515.81\ 074.198821166824759 & type=3 On 15 February 2012 16:36, Aul Pedajas <aulpedajas@...> wrote: > ** > > > Well, it doesn't show that she lifts her head off the ground, but she's > definitely able to hold it up for a while. > > ________________________________ > From: Kacper Rucinski <kacper.rucinski@...> > > Sent: Wednesday, February 15, 2012 4:58 AM > Subject: Olesoxime and SMA > > > > > Hello, > > It has been nearly half a year since the Olesoxime trial took off involving > ~150 SMA children worldwide. > > I have not really heard of any results - except of one four-year-old girl, > Maya, who got on the trial.
