Guest guest
Don't let doctors tell you what's likely to happen... they're not as smart as they sometimes think. When I was about 40, I got to see my old medical record from my when I was about 21. I was seeing one of the leading neurologists at the U of Minnesota. In my chart, he wrote that he didn't think I would be able to ski much longer. I was lucky and skied normally till I was in my late 30's and continue to do adaptive skiing today. I'm glad I didn't see that prognosis earlier.
Guest guest
When I was diagnosed at 1 & 1/2, my doctor told my parents I wouldn't live to be 16. I'm 43 and doing fine. No doctor can tell you how your health will progress, they can only tell you how other cases have presented. You are not a case study. You are not a number. Some of us are stubborn smartasses will a determination to prove everyone wrong just because we can. =D S > > Don't let doctors tell you what's likely to happen... they're not as smart as they sometimes think. > When I was about 40, I got to see my old medical record from my when I was about 21.
