Guest guest
Suzanne, I checked the website and the version for Mac is Dragon Dictate 2- I can't imagine that it would be that different than the PC version. http://www.nuance.com/for-individuals/by-product/dragon-for-mac/index.htm My best guess would be that you need a better headset. Brett could not get it to work at all, so we tried a different headset. Guest guest
I use Dragon for the Mac, I have the older version because I was able to get it for free. I think the one I have is version 2 rather than 2.5. It is pretty accurate most days. My biggest problem with it is that it tends to crash frequently. I think that was a problem that they resolved in version 2.5. It seems to be more accurate for me when I first begin for the day and the more I type/talk the less accurate it gets but I think that's because I get tired and start to slur. I should probably just stop and take a break when that happens but... Never do! I would recommend it. My voice is soft and sometimes harder to understand I think. Let me know how version 2.5 works for you guys and maybe I will bite the bullet and upgrade. :-) On 1/20/12 5:12 PM, " Kristal " <kkoehler47@...> wrote: > Suzanne, > I checked the website and the version for Mac is Dragon Dictate 2- I can't > imagine that it would be that different than the PC version. > http://www.nuance.com/for-individuals/by-product/dragon-for-mac/index.htm > > My best guess would be that you need a better headset. The only way it has worked for Aschdon is with the expensive version. We do not own it however can't afford it. ________________________________ From: Kristal <kkoehler47@...> Sent: Friday, January 20, 2012 4:12 PM Subject: Re: Dragon- Suzanne  Suzanne, I checked the website and the version for Mac is Dragon Dictate 2- I can't imagine that it would be that different than the PC version. http://www.nuance.com/for-individuals/by-product/dragon-for-mac/index.htm My best guess would be that you need a better headset.
