Suzanne,

I checked the website and the version for Mac is Dragon Dictate 2- I can't

imagine that it would be that different than the PC version.

My best guess would be that you need a better headset. Brett could not get it to

work at all, so we tried a different headset.

I use Dragon for the Mac, I have the older version because I was able to

get it for free. I think the one I have is version 2 rather than 2.5. It is

pretty accurate most days. My biggest problem with it is that it tends to

crash frequently. I think that was a problem that they resolved in version

2.5. It seems to be more accurate for me when I first begin for the day

and the more I type/talk the less accurate it gets but I think that's

because I get tired and start to slur. I should probably just stop and

take a break when that happens but... Never do! I would recommend it. My

voice is soft and sometimes harder to understand I think. Let me know how

version 2.5 works for you guys and maybe I will bite the bullet and upgrade.

:-)

we have tried different headsets as well and that didn't work. The only way it

has worked for Aschdon is with the expensive version. We do not own it however

can't afford it.
