Awesome big room and really good access; plus other students with disabilities to learn from and collaborate with. There are required independent living skills classes taught by people with disabilities in the community, and there are attendants on call throughout the semester as backup even after she hires her own. As bedtime approached she got a little nervous about having new attendants and a male attendant for turning her throughout the night, but I know she'll do great. Mom and dad are staying at the hotel around the corner and they'll finish setting up her room/computer tomorrow, then she's a bird leaving the nest. Wooo hoo!
