Guest guest
Hey everybody. I am in much need of all of your ideas and insight. I have noticed that quite allot of programs (all the ones I have seen here in Georgia) only except people with some form of mental disability and people with physical disabilities only, do not qualify. I am wanting to raise awareness of the actual needs of people with physical disabilities... i.e What all they can do for themselves, personal struggles, medical issues etc. Of course I know how to do all of this from my experiences, but what I am looking for are people who would be willing to answer a few questions and give me there own personal experiences so that I can use it for maybe making a difference. I think this is highly unfair for the people who need help and can't ever get it. To me it just seems like anyone who has a severe physical disorder, such as SMA, you would think it would be considered somewhat of a need for help to these programs. Now I plan on starting a petition soon once I have gathered all the information needed. If any of you have any idea who I should talk to about getting my complaints and concerns out there, please respond... I am not at all sure who I can talk to. Also, if you are willing and able to answer the questions I mentioned earlier please send all responses for that to this e-mail < lilahxkaye@... > Thank you all and I hope to get some replies!
