Guest guest
Me too Marcie, but my sinuses will do the same thing to me and sometimes I wonder if I'm having mild ON or another sinus flare up. And often I never decide... irrigating my sinuses with saline helps, so it is undoubtedly sometimes just sinuses. My concern for someone experiencing ON for the first time is that it may be something entirely different that needs treatment. One of the pitfalls for those of us with MS is the tendency to blame everything on MS. That means we can easily miss the early signs of other diseases that should and can be treated... JT Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: ON question There is always the possibility that it is something else, but it sure sounds like text book Optic Neuritis to me! I'm no doctor, but I've had ON several times. I know exactly what you are describing! I can feel the pain just thinking about it. Guest guest
JT I agree about the ON being miss Dx as it may be something other than MS related. Always good to get medical opinion.
