Of course their not going to tell us what happened or where we can find him, but SOMEHOW I have his personal cell phone number...Its crazy how we can get SOOO Attached to an awesome caregiver and when they leave we follow, (same thing with my wc repair guy) They just *know* how we like our care. I always told that he should get on facebook, but he " didnt wanna see his x-girlfriends and how fat they are now " direct quote LOL!! I was super busy last week with school, planning and shopping for the roadtrip of a lifetime ;D But if I get time tomorrow I'll call him as I was planning on anyways and let him know we've officially put out an All Points Bulletin on him and I'll let you know whats up!!  I can't stand the nasty RT they sent here on Friday....ugh... hey, now that I think about it, she said she was on her way from 26th & Hiawatha did she come see you on Friday? Not putting her on BLAST....BUT....How does an RT think its sufficient to put hand sanitizer on IN HER VAN and proceed to touching all my equipment ewe...I'm a germ-a-phobe and asked her to wash her hands OR put on hand sanitizer...she said, " Oh, yeah I did in my van.... " Anybody that *thinks* its ok to touch pulmonary compromised pt's vent after touching her van door, the handicapped switch at the door, the dial pad to be buzzed in, the pen & clipboard to sign your car in, the outside and inside elevator buttons, my apt door, my dog THEN MY VENT! COME ON MAN! It's quite disturbing to me when the professionals who actually know something get dumped, usually because they know something! Had same issue when on TPN at home. One nurse showed up my first day out of the hospital asking my attendant, who spoke little English and mostly Czech, how to hook up the IV pump! Recently, I broke both legs and my left arm (I know, crazy!), so now I've got PT coming to the house. She is awesome and when I had trouble with the company, she informed me of a new mandate (that she believes is nation wide) that if you're not receiving appropriate homecare there us a number to call on the front cover of the agency's packet that they leave at your home. It should be a number for the State Dept of Health Svs, or some such. If they don't have an RT that can meet your needs, they might need to sub-contract, but it'll cost them more so they won't want to do it. Fight for it! I know you will!
