Guest guest
We sound much alike, as far as progression. I truly don't think that the herbal supplements have been to blame for any of my attacks/progression. Have you been checked to see if you are allergic to any of them? It's a bad situation to be in. I know! Probably, you will never know the answer. You will just have to tolerate the symptoms. LDN did help to make the constricting feeling around my waist to disappear. I still have it occassionally in my left ankle. Constipation is a problem still, especially if I don't drink enough water. I just had to stop worrying about it. If I take supplements to be regular, it's too hard to stay clean, and I don't like to have that kind of accident. (If you know what I mean.) Wretched disease! Guest guest
i also had attacks from herbal weight loss stuff. i like you needed to lose it after all the prednisilone. i take evening primrose oil and the omega system 3,6,9 it seems to work fine. don't really know but this hasn't caused any attacks as yet . best of luck. raelene -- [low dose naltrexone] hello Reg and others well i know its been a while since we have talked i was really sick this summer , spent most of it in lacombe hospital ..........blah my whole right side went paralyzed with all that i havent taken anything since .I just wonder i know no one ever knows what causes an attack but it seems to me herbal stuff is seeming to trigger my attacks , 1st i was on this herbal weight loss stuff thanks to the prednisone i had put on so much weight for 3 years i would have an attack try the weightloss, lose the weight then get sick and gain it all back then i decided to not take anything an i was doing so good 1.2 years b4 anything happened to me.Then i was having probs with constipation so i go to the health food store and they gave me these omega 3 pills and i was on them for a few months and without warning i end up in a wheelchair so i quit taking them cause i was in hosp and when i got home i wasnt taking anything again but then the constipation hit me again so i retsarted taking them again and now only after a few months a few of my finger tips are numb and my ribs feel like i got something around them tied real tight and my left knee also . i want to restart taking the ldn after i get back from sask. i am going to see my accupunturist he is alot better then the 1 out here after showing up in a wheelchair that 1 week i walked out with my cane went back 2 weeks later and got some mobility in my right hand and lost the cane.Everything is better now cept my hand is still pretty fatigued ,hard to do stuff with it .I was just wondering if u or anyone else had the same kind of effects with the herbal stuff? I also have a friends whose a nurse and she went to this study this man back home is an ansteasyologist (i cant spell lol) and he has ms and has been trying his own therapy with some emu oil and vitamin d 4000ui daily she is giving me her book he gave out so many things seem to also do with vitamin d do u think along with the ldn that there should be vitamin d also ? Because this is another thing i am not sure had anything to do with me doing so well for a while . Last year i moved here to alberta and b4 it seemed summers were bad for me with the heat , well 2003 summer i spent most of my time in sun but cool with all the lakes and rivers around here because if u ever been to south sask u dont wanna get into the water , which makes sence with getting vitamin d from the sun ?????? well hope to here from ya soon and anyone else that wants to compare also ....ness
Guest guest
As far as the constipation goes (or doesn't...), I find a glass of carrot juice every day helps a lot. There's a really tasty brand available here, Bolthouse Farms, that I really like. If I drink too much I'm in trouble, but a glass a day is very helpful. And yes, I think the vitamin D is extremely important... JT Re: [low dose naltrexone] hello Reg and others We sound much alike, as far as progression.
