As of yet I can still pass my yearly drivers physical,ever since I got my handicapped placard I have to go for yearly physicals and if the govt' wishes a drivers test too.

The reason I broke my rib was cause I went to Ponoka alone and instead of letting this nice guy help me load my wheel chair I said no thanks I am getting quite good at this! Then right in front of him I rolled my chair over backwards falling onto it breaking a rib and landing in the freezing water!

PRIDE GOETH BEFORE THE FALL or that's what they say.

Then as I try to get up my left leg does the dog at a firehydrant thing and of course I can't get up anymore.luckily there was two other ladies there that helped and between the three of them they got me up again.

My right side is fine and the LDN is keeping it that way my left side acts like I had a stroke so therefore I can only drive an automatic now and they took away my big truck license and motorcycle license.

I am OK with that, as then I know there are others out there that are being watched as well and when I meet them on these slippery roads I want the security of knowing they are good drivers too.Now if we can only get the eighty year olds to renew there licenses yearly.........
