Hi Mike & Donna,

I wasn't diagnosed (with MS) until I was almost 60 and perhaps I had it a few years before that, as I think back on it. I have not progressed much at all, so don't believe everything they tell you!

Right away I changed my diet--I follow most (90%) of Dr Swank's diet-- I especially avoid animal fats and substitute things like olive oil for butter and margerines. I was on Copaxone for a year, then switched to LDN last September and I began to notice improvement right away. Balance was much better, thinking and numbness gradually better. My energy level was dramatically improved the first day!

LDN has been used for such a long time, so it's side effects are fairly well known. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it and I'm so happy I did. But the diet and all the supplements I take are equally important!

Welcome to the group!

JULIE: You mentioned reducing dosage. I've been thinking of reducing dosage every once in a while back to 3.0 (from 4.5) as I seem to get very stiff after a month or so on 4.5. Even one day on 3.0 wlll take lots of the stiffness away for a while. Is anyone else using 3.0 every once in a while? I was even thinking I could do 3.0 every other day, if I had to. I'm not having any other side effects though--all the vivid dreaming is gone. I would not dream of missing a pill intentionally. I missed once by accident and the next day lost all that energy I have on LDN.
