Guest guest
Naturehey all, i rarely post so how bout another intro? me: sandy child: gabby age: 5 gabby has significant problems with her sensory system. she's defensive to soft touch and sounds. she has big time problems with attention issues... mainly that she doesn't pay attention or cannot because of all of her sensory needs. i met with her OT today and was hoping to come up w a sensory diet - or a schedule so that i know what kinds of activities i should be doing with her etc. for me, it would work better in schedule format just because i'm much more of a visual person. has anyone used sensory diets with your kids? do you have any suggestions on how i can make a very thorough one. the OTs offered me two generic schedules that just... were kind of disappointing. thanks in advance, sandy
