Guest guest
Hello all, The strangest thing happened this week. My daughter got a little cough, a runny nose and a low fever. It reached a mere 100 and within two days her symptoms were gone. I feel almost like an aweful parent for being excited my daughter just had a cold. But when you prepare for the high fever and it never comes, the little one seems a blessing. Due to the Prednisone the fevers come usually about every two weeks but sometimes fluctuate from 1 to 6 weeks. We discovered that if we give her a dose with the first 24 hours of fever it will return within 2 days, but if we wait before giving her the 6ml of medicine 24 hours it clears her up. As she has gotten older the symptoms are more pronounced with swollen glands and so forth. It is great now that she can tell us what hurts and how she feels but it is so hard also as you all know.
