Hi. My name is . I have 2 wonderful children, Christian (5)

and (21 months). My kids are sick ALL THE TIME!!!

Spasmodic Croup, asthma, pneumonia, multiple sinus infections, etc.

is the one that I believe MAY POSSIBLY have . Since

the end of March, she has began having high fevers 103-105.5. They

always start on a Monday, and last 5 days. There were 5 weeks

between the first 2 fevers and then 21 days between each of the next

three. Each time it is diagnosed as viral tonsillitis. My dad is a

physician (not a pediatrician) and agrees there must be something

else going on and that seems to fit. He always says,

though, " I'm not a pediatrician, so check with your doctor. " Our

pediatrician says that it is not likely that she has . I

understand that it is early in the game to give a diagnosis like

that, given she has only had the high fevers 4 times. So, I will

continue to chart her fevers and illnesses and see what happens...

I look forward to hearing other parent's perspectives and challenges

and hope that we can help each other. Oh, yes, and to top things

off... my husband is in the military and has only been home 6 weeks

(not consecutively) since September, so I am dealing with all of

this on my own.
