Guest guest
, We have been giving our son steroids for more than 2 years now, and we've found what seems to be the ideal way to give him the steroids. I'm sure it will vary in every case but you might try it. When our son starts having fever we only give him motrin every 6 hours and if the fever goes up too much betwen the 6 hrs we give him tempra or tylenol. This is for the first day. We do this until the morning of the next day, at which point if he still has fever we give him 1 dose of 5 ml and that takes care of the fevers. We rarely have to give him 2 doses, i'd say 95% of the time we give him only one dose. Good luck
