Guest guest
yes, my daughter kylie seems to sweat a lot when sleeping, fevering or not. , father to kylie 3 night sweats-when falling asleep Hi everyone. In the past I remember posts about children having night sweats. One thing that I've noticed with Carina is that at times she tends to sweat when she first falls asleep, rather than during the night. Carina seemed perfectly healthy today with no sign of fever, so I don't believe her sweating has anything to do with fever. Has anyone else noticed their child get sweaty right after falling asleep during their well times? Thanks. Best Wishes to all, Carmela Mom to Carina 3 3/

We could all be freezing and Nicky would be dripping in his sleep. . But in the winter -while he is awake - he is the first one with blue lips. Or during the summer in the swimming pool--he is the shivering, blue kid. He seems to react very strongly to temperatures. mom to ( 9) , Nicky(7)-, ( 5)
Guest guest
does as well. He has always sweat alot while sleeping. We have also had a few incidents when he fell asleep with a fan on and the temp. dropped during the night. When I went in to check on him and turn off his fan his body felt like ice. His temp. had actually fallen down to 95.4. For some reason he does seem to have a difficult time regulating his body temperature, I'm sure it's all related to PFS somehow. I am talking about gushing nose bleeds, not little ones. When I mention it to the doctors they never really have an answer and practically ignore it. Just wondering if this is common with any other kids. My son had to have his nose cauterized last year ( Valentines Day 2005) because of his nosebleeds. It wasn't until the Dr. did the procedure that they found a huge tangle of veins inside both nostrils. This was the year before the fevers started ( his Kindergarten year) mom to (9) , (7) -, (5)
Guest guest
what is " cauterized " . Does not sound pleasant. Sammys are controlable, especially know that he is older and knows when he has one, and can deal with it before it gets to huge. Very interesting about your son who is 7 as well. Sounds like they started fevering about the same time. Kim mom of Sammy 7 yrs (), Lilly 4 chelsmommy@... wrote: In a message dated 10/24/2006 1:13:35 P.M. Very interesting about your son who is 7 as well. Sounds like they started fevering about the same time. Lets see--his first cauterization was in the DR office on one nostril on a large vein--that time they used a chemical to burn the area. When that didn't work he had to go into the hospital and have it done on both sides with a laser. The laser basically burns the inside of the nose to close off/shrink the veins. It didn't hurt ( the chemical one did a bit tho) and it was supposed to be quick. Nicky had a lot of bleeding so it took longer than expected.
