mom--daughter is 9 nine and still in remission

Hi all--I've thought that I should drop this group about a million

times because my daughter has been in remission for about 5.5 yrs.

I'm not writing to report that she's fevering again, but that I'm so

thankful that this group exists! She fevered for about a year or

so, and after the specialists actually found out what it was, I

started researching and found this group. Back then I don't think

there was a hundred members. And Fran is an awesome group owner! I'm

thankful that you're here if I ever need you again to discuss things

with. Just today I was thinking, " Gosh, what if she started again?

What would trigger it? Puberty? " Of course, I started to panic. I

can't live my life on what-ifs. Anyway, believe that your kids will

get better and that there will be a time when you won't have to plan

anything around your child's fever schedule. As the specialists

told me, something will " switch their internal switch back to

normal " . And keep posting here to get the support you need with

this horrible condition that drs are just learning about!
