Guest guest
my vote would also be checking out those good nites and competing company products ( i think huggies and pampers both may make a similar bigger size overnight item) also, i would say to check out the medical supply stores as well. finally, as a backup you can always try to ask nurse/staff as to where they may get some of their supplies for patients. lisa In a message dated 1/12/2010 9:30:37 A.M. Guest guest
Laslie, Have you tried "Goodnites"? Heinens, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-mart, Target all carry the brand. They go up to 100 lbs I think! We use those for the nite with Evan, and we have the smallest size for him. Hope this helps.... Guest guest
These are pullups but they hold quite a bit of volume. They have briefs and another style that looks like a diaper/ pullup. That's what we use. The briefs were too annoying for Evan.On Jan 12, 2010, at 9:43 AM, LBarano710@... wrote: Are they actual diapers---We have tried what looks like diaper "briefs" or pullups and they didn't work for us... Guest guest
We use Goodnights for our son. They are like a pull-ups and are in a brief style. They also make a " boxer short " but they holds less in my opinion. Depending on your insurance, you could try having your doctor writing a prescription for them and you might get them covered under insurance. I think this works with Medicaid but our insurance denied the claim. I think they can be shipped to your house that way and I believe that they supply Goodnights for a child that size. Since insurance does not cover them, I write them off as part of our medical expenses/deductions.....that adds up! ~~Tara~~

Guest guest
Hi,If your doctor feels he needs the diapers at night, he can write a prescription and then you can go thru a medical supply company for them. I use Loraine Surgical out of Cleveland, they come down to Akron area, they are shipped by fed ex. Some of the medical supply places don't carry the kid size, but lorraine surgical does, you may want to call them and they can contact your doctor by fax for the prescription. There number is 216-281-4777, my daughter is on medicaid because she is adopted and they are free, I do have a bunch of extras if you want to contact me. My daughter just got potty trained, she is almost 6. Guest guest
Hi, Our son wore the Jumbo size Goodnites until he was potty trained. They go from 60-125 lbs and work great. We have about 6 unopened packs of 13 each. If they work for you and you live in the area I would be willing to give them to you for half the retail cost. I think they are about 13.99 a pack the last time I checked! Feel free to email me off line if you are interested. Guest guest
Hello,I don't know if you are still looking for information but I thought that I would pass this along. We had the same issue with our son as well. He is approaching the 90 pound mark and pullups were getting very tight and the smallest adult diaper we could find in stores was way too big. The company that we use is Activstyle. Here is the link;http://activstyleforcaregivers.com/Home/tabid/65/Default.aspx. And their phone number is 800-651-6223.They had diapers that work well for him and the company is great at handling all of the insurance red tape....We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to use this service. If you need any more information please do hesitate to contact us. I would be happy to help.Take care!!!JenFrom: "LBarano710@..." <LBarano710@...> Sent: Tue, January 12, 2010 9:29:22 AMSubject: [ ] Need Diapers Hi there-- My son is almost 70 pounds....He wears diapers to bed at night ....I have been literally squeezing him in Size 6 diapers for a year now and they are just way too small. Guest guest
We used to use the goodnights for our son too...he is a husky boy and they were all that would fit him.. just wanted to let you know that we were able to use our Family Resource dollars to pay for the diapers.. they would send us a case at time.. which helped alot since you get less than you do in a pack of diapers and they are more expensive.. Guest guest
Tena extra absorbency protective underwear has worked for us for years, they're soft like underpants and very absorbent- We get them from Duraline in Ohio, but there's lots of suppliers online. Guest guest
My son uses Goodnights, 65-125 pounds. He is 83 lbs and these fit and they are better then most but he pees through them many times a day. I like that they are pull ups keeping him in the model of underware. If you'd like to try them I'd be glad to give you a pack to try them out and see if they will work for your child. Guest guest
Glad the information was helpful. We wish we had known that this was offered a long time ago. ActivStyle is such a wonderful company. Getting the initial order set up is a little on the trying side as you do have to go through that insurance red tape that I mentioned but it's not the company's fault. But now once a month they call and you go through an automated system to reorder. Couldn't be easier to do.I failed to mention the diapers that we ordered for our son are Select by Tranquility. They fit 80-125 pounds. We haven't had any real issues with the diapers. The only thing that is difficult about them is that they don't have the velcro sides that pullups did so changing can be time consuming but at least they fit and we don't have to worry day to day about him fitting into his diapers anymore. The company also does offer pull-ups as well so I am assuming that they would supply Goodnites if they is what you decided to go with.Again, if there is any other questions that I can help you with please do not hesitate to contact me.
