prednisone and stomach upset?

Hi, I just gave my 3 year old son his first dose of Prednisone on Friday

morning and he's had really bad diarrhea ever since Friday night. The

fever went away that first day (the only dose day) but came back days 2

and 3 - along with this massive diarrhea. Is that normal? I'm

disappointed, it looked like it would work nicely day 1, but it didn't

persist, perhaps the dosage must be adjusted.
