Guest guest
My son has always been a scripter. I understand he uses this as "down" time and have no problem with that. Lately, however, his scripting is out of control and is disrupting others (and his own learning) in the classroom. We are constantly prompting him to "turn the TV off" in his head. He can even tell us what TV episode/book/movie he's thinking about. We have been severely limiting "screen" time and the scripting level has not changed. He is is on Ritalin and we have been experimenting with dosages (including none), all of which appear to have no effect (previously, we did notice a slight decrease in scripting while on ritalin). We run a home ABA program as well. This totally seems out his his control right now, which is why every ABA technique we've tried doesn't seem to be working. Any medications or supplements which may help with this? Thanks in advance for any help.Amy
