Parents will: Ø Engage in activities and discussion around the planning process necessary to develop transition plans that are a part of a student’s IEP Ø Know how to proceed with their own son’s/daughter’s transition development Ø Know what questions to ask about the transition process Ø Know the steps necessary to move their student from the academic environment into an independent adult life.
