Description:

Behavior Focused IEP's: How Parents Can Help the IEP Team - Participants will gain an understanding of what a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is and how to collect the information needed to conduct one. Participants will discuss how the environment affects behavior. They will be given ideas and suggested accommodations that may help eliminate or modify behaviors. Discussion of how to incorporate behavior plans into the IEP also will be addressed.
