" Is Your Child a Target of Bullying? "

Presenter: Lyke, Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with

Disabilities (OCECD)

When: Thursday – May 6, 2010

Where: Medina City Library / 210 S. Broadway – Medina, Ohio 44256

Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm (PLEASE NOTE START TIME)

Open to: Parents and Professionals

Description:

Participants will gain an understanding of the different types of bullying,

symptoms that children display when they are being bullied and the

characteristics of a bully. Anti-bullying programs that are available to assist

parents and schools will be presented, as well as, how parents can work with

schools to create a safer environment and work with their children to teach them

what to do if they are bullied.

REGISTRATION* is required – Registration deadline is May 1, 2010.

*OCECD requires a minimum registration number for the presentation. If the

minimum number is not reached, the presentation will be cancelled.
