Guest guest
My name is Dena Page, and I'm a behavior analyst with nearly 20 years experience running home-based and school-based ABA programs. I am also an AIT practitioner (11 years experience). I have lived outside of the US for the past 8 years, but am planning on returning soon, possibly even this fall, and intend to settle in the Cleveland area. A lot has changed in ABA since I left the US. When I left, the certification process had just become a national process that very few people had heard of. (I'm certified, though my certification predates the ABA picking it up -- my group was the test group, so the process was identical to the current one.) Can anyone tell me what the current arrangement for ABA services is in Ohio, these days? Do you need your certification to be board certified, or is simply a CBA sufficient? Will I need to register somewhere? Who is providing ABA consulting services? Are there private providers, or does everyone work through some type of agency? Also, I'd like to build my auditory integration therapy business when I return, or even before I return. In fact, I'd like to organize a session for this summer, if there's interest. Is there much awareness of AIT? Thank you for any information you can provide.Best, Dena Page, M.Ed., CBACertified Auditory Integration Therapy (DAA) Practitioner+972 54 812 5973www.listenbetterwithait.com Certified Irlen ScreenerCertified Behavior Analyst
