Hi Amy, has been on a very low dose of Tenex to help with sleep issues and stimming behavior. He gets 2.5 mg in the am and 5 mg in around 5 pm as it reaches it's peak 4-5 hrs later this helping him get to sleep. We recently added a small does of abilify in the am and after school as well which has decreased the stimming somewhat but he is still poking himself in the eye.

We are using Risperdal with Tenex in the AM and PM. It is a low dose of Tenex to

start out 1 mg twice a day. The Risperdal is 1 mg twice a day also. Then before

bed we use clonidine .1 mg cut in half. It helps to relax him. The stimulants in

the raditional sense didn't work for us. We ried adderall xr, concerta,

strattera, and celexa, none of them were good for him. We were using Abilify

before but changed to Risperdal when it stopped working at 15 mg a day. He has

ics and ADHD and obsessive behaviors. It seems to be helping with the anger and

meltdowns.
