No lefties here......hard to tell with Maddie, but she holds a spoon with her right hand and dips her hand in things with her right....but also uses her left a lot. Maybe she's ambidextrous (sp?) Guest guest
Gabby is a leftie mostly but I would not say she is 100% left. She uses her right hand for some things. Both her father and myself are righties. Her younger brother seems to be using his left hand more, too, though. He is only 2 years old and I would say too young to tell right now. Other than them, my older sibling (M) is the only leftie I know of in my family. Sandy mom to le (5, ds-asd) and Adam (2) Re: left handed Matt is left handed. Guest guest
Both of my sons are left handed. Trying to teach how to eat was the hardest. I am lost when it comes to my left hand. My husband taught himself to write with his left hand about 3 years ago because he lost the ability to close his hand to grasp a pen or pencil. (Hope that makes sense) Being an ER doc he has to write (usually he sees 100-135 patients during his shift)So. . . he had no choice and now today he writes only with his left hand. . . perfectly!! Guest guest
Hi, I don't know anyone that I babysitt that's left handed. But I figured that I was ambixidious since I can write with both hands; so I asked around my family, relatives- and found out that my half-sister is ambixidious. So that was cool. --- Doug & <doug.smith@...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I am just curious how many of our kids are > left-handed and if it has > anything to do with the way their brain works > differently? > is left handed. > mom to Alek 9, , 7, 6, DS/ASD , > Logan 4, and Liam 2, all > rightys including my husband and myself. Well, you know, my brother used to use his left hand, and the nuns at school forced him to use his right (actually tied his hand behind his back). Ah, the good ole days.....;-) Donna
Guest guest
Nicolas is a leftie, but so is his dad... I'm so used to placing his fork and spoon by his left hand that now I find myself doing the same thing with his baby sister.
