Autism Scholarship Program Reception at the Statehouse 4/14

Hi All,I wanted to pass along this info regarding a luncheon that will be held at the Statehouse in Columbus following the HB-8 rally on April 14th.  RSVP's for the lunch are due by April 2nd.  I contacted the person running the luncheon and asked a few questions and below are her responses and also info on the rally, luncheon and reception with State lawmakers.

Hi Tara, 

Yes you may bring your child with you.  We plan to have pizza, chips, cookies and drinks.  The reception for the most part will be to mingling with Ohio Autism Providers and parents  across the state. There will be activities on the state house lawn from 11:00-12:00 then lunch at 12:00 at our place a short walk across the street.  You can make you appointment for the afternoon to see your senator and go on a tour of the State Capital.  The Santa cargo ship is docked nearby for tours.  There is also A Planter’s Peanut Store that is fun to take the kids to.  Both places are within walking distance. 

 

Hopefully you can come and enjoy the day with us. I would invite anyone that supports the Autism Scholarship Program.  If you do send this information out to other parents and groups it is important that they do R.S.V.P. so that I know  how many to plan for.
