Dear ASGC members,

Please condsider the ASGC in the following message.

The United Way's 2010 workplace campaign and other charitable campaigns (State Charitable Campaign, Combined Federal Campaign) are in full swing. If you are participating in one of the charitable campaigns this fall, please consider designating to the Autism Society of Greater Cleveland or, in the instance of the Combined Federal Campaign, our parent organization, the Autism Society (of America) as your charity of choice. The Autism Society of Greater Cleveland does not receive any money directly from the community fund of the United Way of Greater Cleveland. This means we do not receive any United Way money beyond what you designate to us. The United Way has set certain priorities for their community fund dollars.

Luckily, most United Ways, including the United Way of Greater Cleveland, do allow you to designate to the charity of your choice. So if you would like your United Way dollars to go towards helping improve the lives of people with autism, please designate tothe Autism Society of Greater Cleveland. You can do this by writing us in on the general pledge card found on the UW giving page. This is the form you can print off and send in or you may receive this paper form from your company.Under Choose How You Want to Invest in Your Community, choose Option C at the

bottom of page one: ���OTHER INVESTMENT United Way programs and initiatives (listed on reverse) or another United Way or local 501©3 health and human service nonprofit. We are "another local 501©3 health and human service nonprofit." Write in the Autism Society of Greater Cleveland in Brecksville, OH. If you use the online pledging, ask the Human Resources Department of your company or call the United Way, 216-436-2100 for help in filling out the online form so that you can

designate. Please encourage your friends and family to designate as well. All monies donated to the Autism Society of Greater Cleveland stay right here in Cleveland Ohio to improve the lives of all affected by autism.
