I know a few years back when they redid idea, that was one of the changes they made. If nobody else chimes in, give the librarian a call at ocecd to double check, i think her name was Martha.a

Hello,

I am working with a family in a diificult situation with their school district.  I am trying to find out if and if so what the protocol would be to ask the district to remove a member of the IEP team and offer a replacement. The situation has become quite advsarial and just the closness of this school staff member makes the family comprimised and very upset. This does not allow them to be present and fully attend to being their child's best advocate.

Thanks for your input.

I have successfully removed a teacher from the team by written request to the District. They replaced the teacher with another teacher who was informed and worked with my son. This was helpful.

I also started digitally recording all IEP meetings. That helped alot. Meetings were more professional. Imagine that
