Can a parent request that a member of the IEP team be replaced

Hello,

I am working with a family in a diificult situation with their school district.

I am trying to find out if and if so what the protocol would be to ask the

district to remove a member of the IEP team and offer a replacement. The

situation has become quite advsarial and just the closness of this school staff

member makes the family comprimised and very upset. This does not allow them to

be present and fully attend to being their child's best advocate.
