Guest guest
LMay, I think you deserve a Big Hug too. *hugs* Jo Lynne Re: Hello from a Lurker HI, Josie welcome from one of the newers I have had lyme disease and rocky mountain spotted fever they didn't get mine soon enough and that is where the arthritis comes from, and the low grade fevers. It is very nasty stuff. Sorry to hear that you are alone in you home life but you are not alone here in this group. This spot has been my lifeline. I have to carry directions with me when ever I leave my comfort zone and that is with in sight of my home. when I go to the doc it takes me an hour to walk 4 blocks. Before I go I do my brain pain pictures so that I can get there and back. I have to stay mobile because there is nobody in this town that want to take a chance on helping. If it wasn't for my landlords looking out for me I would have laid where I fell as it was I was there for six hours. And the ambulance in this area would not transport me because I coul not talk clear enough to tell them to. So the landlady took me to the doc and they said I had another TIA. At least here we have each other I live at my puter it's the only chair in the house that helps my back or in bed got to go now chest is hurting again lyl LMay

Guest guest
Well I was told to take a regular aspirin a day. He said the baby aspirin won't do much good. Nan To: Sent: Wednesday, August 12, 2009 2:32:55 PMSubject: Re: LMay Hi Nan with the TIA's the doc put me on a low salt diet and a baby aspirin a day he told me to research what foods would be best for me to eat he believes that a person will not stick with food they just don't like. There are some med's that will make your balance worse so please double check. Mine have messed up my speech, balance, memory and spelling. I almost flunked out of school and then went on to work with kids helping them read. O well that is the way we walk swaying down the street with our walker or our cane at least we are walking. I have a bad habit of sticking my tongue out at people if they let their kids keep running around me. But now I was told I am having these Tia's and then nothing!!!! I just feel that "take an aspirin every day" just isn't enough. I feel like I should have more help than that. The other large spot is in the area of balance, I have to use a cane or walker now to keep from falling down. I have fallen so many times. It is so maddening. Please tell me, what do you do?
