Guest guest
Hi. My son has had fevers and severe mouth sores for almost a year. (I wrote an into. not too long ago.) We go Jan. 16 to the immunologist--again. We've been to St. Louis Children's Hospital 8 times since March (and we live 4 hrs. away.) They have shifted us all over the place and have run every test under the sun as well as several procedures. I am afraid, based on what I've dealt with there (and much of it is positive), that 1. They will be reluctant to diagnose him and 2. If so, they will want to continue with the steroid treatments we've done so many times in the past. QUESTION: Has anyone had a diagnosis from S.L.C. Hospital? If so, who did you see and what did they suggest? (Jack sees Dr. White.) Has anyone had a doctor refuse to do a T & A when you felt it was the right course of action? I would like to be as prepared as possible when I go so any info. would be helpful. Thanks, Christie Springfield, MO Jack age
