Guest guest
and with the fmf they need the colchicine treatment so they do not build up protein in the major organs which can lead to renal failure. you should find a dr. who will explain it all to you. i don't think this dr. is right just doing nothing and maybe it will disappear . maybe he is not trusting what you have to say. Guest guest
Correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe that one of the " flavors " of genetic fever disorder can result in a potentially fatal heart complication. Those kids need to get on a particular medicine ASAP to avoid damage to the heart. I also think treatment does differ in some ways. I myself am still waiting on results of genetic testing and am avoiding doing too much research on the internet or else I will just freak myself out. I want to find out results before I start getting worked up.
