Anyone heard of ASD Educational Systems? - Big Ad in Post Newspaper

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this advertisement in the Medina area

newspapers. This is the second time this company has run an advertisement, but

I can't get any information about them.

The first advertisement's call back number was an answering service and they

only wanted my contact information, but wouldn't give out any information about

the company - not even where they were located.

Anyway, since then a second advertisement just came out giving more information.

It states:

Well, I called and again it was an answering service, but I did get a little

more information. I got the address as: 570 Shadyledge Drive, Akron, Ohio

44313 and they stated a direct number to call is 330-631-3222.

I haven't called the direct number - it's long distance again for me, but I did

call Sogan in Columbus at the ODE/ASP office.

Mr. Sogan stated this company (at least under the ASD Educational Systems name)

IS NOT an approved provider of the scholarship. Also, in no way do they pay for

Therapeutic Martial Arts under scholarship monies.

I faxed a copy of the advertisement to Mr. Sogan a couple of days ago and ask

that he let me know if they are a provider under a different name. I haven't

heard back yet.

I'm just wondering if anyone else in the Akron area (I'm in Medina) is familiar

with this address, company name or phone number and could give some feed back as

to who these people are???
