That's a shame Mare that it takes money to get help... I was on over 28 drugs at one time, never once abused any, but when night came and I couldn't take any meds till morning I never slept all night long, but as soon as I could take my meds in the morning I'd sleep off and on all day... Dr's are good at giving out drugs for every little thing... We finally got a new Dr. to take over in our little town and when he seen what all the nasty drugs the other Dr. had me on, he said that he could not handle my case until he sent me to another Dr., which was a neurologist... So I started going there and right away he started taking me off meds, some he took right away and others I had to be walked off of, the worse one was the 40mg's. of valium daily, took him 9 months to clear my system of all the drugs I didn't need... Now I only take the ones that keep my body going, I won't take any pain meds or sleeping pills as I've been there done that thanks to Dr's., Our old Doc was a good Doc, he just over used drugs in his patients...

So hang in there as said, It Will go away eventually, that I Promise!!! Be strong, we're here for you...

I have been seeing the same doctor for 5 years. He is from Egyt*sp and he is a Muslim?

Well I have never been judgemental.

I have lupus but he disagreed and I have had heart problems being on an enormous amount of meds and then the stroke and he has me on Fentanyl patches for the pain in my body.

So I have withdrwal symptoms if I am off them very long.

Today I called for an appt. And they say I can't see him anymore my balance is over $500 and it is their new policy when you get that high it has to be paid in cash even though I have Medicare insurance!

So I am down as I do not knoiw what to do or where to turn.

Can hardly typ I am so upset.
