Guest guest
thank you for the info -- maybe that will put alot of my son's " impulsive behavior " into perspective. He knows he's done wrong but does it anyway (hitting, pushing, pulling hair, etc. It just may not be the meds after all). > > I just want to say hang in there everyone, it's been a very difficult season for our kids on the autism spectrum, behaviors are off the wall for some, irritability, and incoherency is among others, these symptoms are very high due to the seasonal allergies. It's been off and on mostly over the last month or two and hopefully the summer will ease off and help bring relief to all. > > As for some relief, antihistamines may help and air purifiers are helpful as well. I've been using air purifiers and humidifiers along with some antihistamines. > > Yours Most Truly, > > n >
Guest guest
you're welcome, and yes, it's amazing what allergies do to some of our kids. I even heard that allergies can bring on spitting and/or cussing/ verbal behaviors episodes.
