If you're looking at doing an online charter school where they would provide the pc,books and all supplies then i would recommend ohdela. We enrolled there after a bad experience from a local charter school, and they really went out of there way to help matt, they brought in independent consultants to retest him(who used testing designed for kids with autism which changed matts IQ from 70 to 100),whatever he needed he got. We left because matt just needed more structure (i couldnt get him to work independently) but in my opinion it is an excellent school. If you decide to go with them let me know and ill tell you the name of his intervention specialist, she was terrific.

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there is anyone in the area that homeschool's their child that is a high schooler.  My son is high functioning borderline Asperger's.  I am thinking about bringing my son home.  He is having issues in his high school.  I have homeschooled him in the past.  My daughter was homeschooled so I am not new to the concept.  I have taught many children in a co-op also.

I just want to know if this would create issues for services that he might receive.  For example job training.  The high school is thinking about different job opportunities for him and I would hate to lose those.

We are currently in the Berea School District.

Thanks in advance for all your help!
