Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 If diagnosed with , there is nothing that you " should " treat with, but there are some options that might make the fever episodes shorter, the fevers lower, or potentially eliminate the episodes. Basically, these options are Prednisone/Orapred, Cimetidine/Tagamet, Singulair, or potentially a Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy (T & A). " And, is pretty mild, in terms of drugs to give (although, we do have her liver enzymes checked every 3 months. And, it seems to be helping us out, a lot. Good Luck. But I was told he needs to stay on the colchicine to prevent problems in the future. Thanks char. ************** Start the year off right.
