I would be interested in purchasing " used clothing " -- but I really don't have

any to give away because my kids wear them till them are rags. My son is a

skinny bean wearing 7-8 at age 8. My daughter is a wearing a girls XL -- 12-14

size.

I thought I'd share a very neat idea that was done in my neighborhood.  It's a fundraising clothing sale.  Only clothes in good condition are donated.  Then there's a big one-day sale of the clothes that have been donated, everything for only $1, and all the money gets donated to a local charity.  It's a perfect win-win and a nice change from a bake sale!

If you are interested, I can (NAA NEO) help by allowing families to drop off clothing they don't need any more that are gently used at our office/home. I can then match families in need with the type of clothing/sizes available. Please let me know if there is any further interest in this. I know I could use some clothes for my lil' guy -- seems foolish not to take advantage of any donated items, really.

!!!! You are soooooo Awesome!!!!! I was thinking of doing that as well.

We also have a church accross our street that has free clothing for anyone in

need too.

Someone if anyone is in need, the church is open on Wed mornings from 9am-11am.

but if someone absolutely can't make it at that time, I can look for them for a

size they may need. (they have mostly adult sizes as the childrens goes fast but

I have found on occassion children's clothes. There is nice clothing, coats,

shoes, they had some really nice winter coats this past season.
