Guest guest
It's good stuff LINDA From: <gremlin291989>Subject: [Hepatitis CSupportG roupForDummies] Re: LACTULOSEHepatitis CSupportGr oupForDummiesDate: Tuesday, September 30, 2008, 10:36 AM If I had a million dollar advertising budget I could sell dog poo that stuff is over priced garbage. Plain yogurt is a regular part of my diet and a good thing. I mix it with fruit smoothies. I get whatever is on sale. As far as helping with the gas no way. The probiotics I take barely work. At least I can go out socially and not have to get up every 5 mins to let one fly :)I also got a really nice Breville Juicer. I am losing my interest in eating and chugging down fruits and veggies is making eating every 2 hours a piece of cake. Don't waste money on the cheap Juicers. They are so much extra work and I doubt I could handle the prep, mess and clean up. I got the $400.00 Breville juicer but the $149.00 one will do. You can find them on line for quite a savings. I got mine for $279.00 and that includes shipping and taxes > > >> > > Does anyone know what helps all the gas (farts) excuse my french, > > from lactulose?? Guest guest
I am 13 1/2 yrs Post Transplant - PBC & AIH has come back. My ammonia level is very HIGH and with gastro paresis the lactulose is making me very sick (throwing up). When I first started on it earlier this year and it sure does not do what I remember from the last time, it took six days to have a BM. So do any of you know what else to do for the ammonia? I live alone and it is to scary with my ammonia level. Thanks in Advance. Jo Lynne
Guest guest
My experience of lactulose is that it's useless as a laxative.
