Just few questions because Melody is 3 and has been on colchine for

three months. She up to 2 1/2 tabs a day. Each time she's gotten a

fever her doctor ups the dose 1/2. He says she could take up to

three. How long has she been on colchicine? and how much? How do you

give her the medication?

This is her 5th week on it. She takes a 0.6mg tab daily. She is 7 and can

swallow pills.. So, every morning she takes the pill. I have noticed that the

fevers are gone(so far) and the regular illnesses are back..she is getting over

a cold.
