Guest guest
Hey Jo Lynne, I understand your gastroparesis better than anyone since I have it as well with my paralyzed colon. I know the feeling of being sick from not being able to go to the bathroom. I am on colchine , raglan, and probiotic. I have had this for almost 4 yrs now, sometimes it was so rough I thought I was going to pass out from the pain. Thank goodness its getting better now! Talk to you soon, Bek Lactulose I am 13 1/2 yrs Post Transplant - PBC & AIH has come back. My ammonia level is very HIGH and with gastro paresis the lactulose is making me very sick (throwing up). When I first started on it earlier this year and it sure does not do what I remember from the last time, it took six days to have a BM. So do any of you know what else to do for the ammonia? I live alone and it is to scary with my ammonia level. Thanks in Advance. Jo Lynne
Guest guest
I sure wish we were not in this club!! lol Take Care, B. in TEXASFrom: Jo Lynne <jolynne4@...> Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2009 7:28:16 PMSubject: Fw: letter from a florida teacher My ear has a phone glued to it. If they would stop changing their mind. I have a huge stack of letters. When I was on Cobra and not Medicare D I had NO PROBLEM. My Medicare D Provider was my prescription coverage while working and thru Cobra. The Doctor they have on file is not my Doctor now and they called him and asked about my meds. BIG HIPPA RULE NO NO. At least they have sent me my life saving Meds. So Jeff and B welcome to the club. Jo Lynne Re: letter from a florida teacher I know things like this are out there Jeff because when my COBRA ended from my previous job, I had several months without insurance. I called every agency I could find and one here in Texas (can't remember which one) actually told me, if I was an illegal immigrant they could help me. I was stunned. I never could find any assistance. So until my Medicare kicked in, I had no insurance, fortunately my pain mgt doc continued to see me for $10 a visit Take Care, B. in TEXAS .
