She's had a somewhat mild recovery I think, compared to what I have read about some of the other kids experience on this board. She of coursedoesn't want to eat much. We are also pushing the fluids, almost forcefully sometimes. The thing that is most notable though is the low grade fever that keeps lingering. We are on day 8 post-op and still a low grade fever (nothing over 101). Its just hanging on like a normal episode, just not nearly as high. I spoke with her doctor today and she said the low grade fever is normal, even this far out. Still, it does feel like we are having a mild episode in the middle of recovery, but I think that's my paranoia setting in! Any input from those of you who's child has had the T & A on their recovery will be helpful, mostly how long recovery was, what post-op symptoms were, etc. We are crossing our fingers that this procedure is our cure and will keep you updated as to our status.
