Guest guest
Thank you for the update, Deb. My prayers are with them all. Hugs, VickieG A Reminder: For All Our Members in ESLD from All of Us Our member Glenda here in the U.S. is still waiting on the list for a matching donor and liver transplant. All her directed living donors for 1 reason or another did not match or could not be her donor. We also have our Suzie now listed in Canada and many quiet members too either in ESLD end stage liver disease from HCV - waiting for higher MELD scores to be actively listed in the U.S. - actively listed or denied unable medically for a liver transplant. Once in ESLD many members can no longer be active in group. It's too much for them to handle from being too ill total fatigue confusion in a brain fog from severe complications. ......... ... Please join us too all prayers all faiths all good vibes continuously sent there way. Our Hopes and Prayers Goes Out To Them All. Guest guest
The thought of not getting a new liver scares me more than doing Tx. I start Tx the first of September. It is amazing to me that they have to half kill you before you can get a new liver. Massive doses of radiation from CAT scans. All those chemicals to diagnose and treat various sides from ESLD " sigh " I am in complete awe of anyone who has made it to liver transplant and actually got a new liver!!! Geno 3a, ESLD MELD 11 sick as a dog and still not sick enogh to be listed!! > > > Our member Glenda here in the U.S. is still waiting on the list for a matching donor and liver transplant.
